I have an XTR and I have been testing upgrading to the 550 OS. As
such I have a terminal, a DEC VT510, attached through a NULL
modem. Anyhow, I believe there is something wrong with the terminal
connection.
Everything displays fine and the keyboard is hooked up problerly, as I
can change the terminals setting and that displays. I don't think I
messed up any settings, because I can plug in the raq 3i I'm using in
the same manner and it displays and accepts input.
Any ideas. - at first I thought it might have been because I was using
ther rom kernel - I am curious if I might have eliminated something
that enables a tty in doing stuff with networking - though I aslo
worry that it might be a hardware failure - though it strikes me that
a serial port is one of the harder things to break.
