[cobalt-users] awstats raq550 -load uncommented (and moved after clearmodules) cgi permissions

I have installed the awstats pkg from nuonce (thanks brian - as ever) onto a
RaQ4 running RaQ550 OS.

Went into the httpd.conf and "LoadModule pam_external_auth_module
modules/mod_auth_pam_external.so" was on the first line uncommented. I
noticed there was a ClearModules statement later on so I moved this line
beneath that statement (Brian, you may/may not want to state on your site
that it is the httpd.conf as it doesnt say it anywhere).

I then ran /etc/cron.daily/zz_awstats-run.pl which gave a nice long output
similar to the following:

Jumped lines in file: 0
Parsed lines in file: 4
 Found 0 dropped records,
 Found 0 corrupted records,
 Found 0 old records,
 Found 4 new qualifed records.
Frontpage NOT ENABLED on /home/sites/bravo.stealthhosts.com/web

Then go to www.<vhost>.<tld>/awstats, an htacces-like authentication window
is fired and allows me to log in.

When in this window a server error is fired stating "The server encountered
an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your
request. Your administrator may not have enabled CGI access for this
directory." - I know you have all seen this error before when people have
not correctly altered the httpd.conf but I have checked and rechecked that
it is correct (unless it needs adding somewhere else).

It appears that it is trying to execute "/awstats-cgi/awstats.pl?config="
this does not seem to exist.

CGI is enabled for each of the webs I am using to test, I would like to
avoid manually having to create script aliases for all current and future
sites.

Does anyone have further suggestions?

All the previous problems were fixed as follows:
Unable to limitbandwidth - found brians c9 & c10 updates, installed those
and stopped booting from rom, all worked well after that and the ipchains
emails from cron went quiet :)
Mailscanner: I cant remember what the problem was but I fixed it.

Thanks to all that have replied to my numerous (normally self-induced)
problems :)
