Re: [cobalt-users] Re: Anyone running Perl 5.8.2 on Raq4? {Scanned}

Well, I'm not sure if I can choose a directory different then what it
selected already. I didn't download the perl source code but instead I was
trying to add some modules using the

perl -MCPAN -e shell
> o conf prerequisites_policy ask
selected 'no' for manual configuration
>install MD5
when it said it requires some additional modules to install and then all of
a sudden I noticed it started to download perl 5.8.2. So, right now it's
sitting at a prompt waiting for me to proceed and I'm not sure I want too.
Can I just exit out of this without breaking too much? I'm currently at the
following prompt of the perl installation:

This installation shell script will examine your system and ask you
questions
to determine how the perl5 package should be installed. If you get
stuck on a question, you may use a ! shell escape to start a subshell or
execute a command. Many of the questions will have default answers in
square
brackets; typing carriage return will give you the default.

On some of the questions which ask for file or directory names you are
allowed
to use the ~name construct to specify the login directory belonging to
"name",
even if you don't have a shell which knows about that. Questions where this
is
allowed will be marked "(~name ok)".

[Type carriage return to continue]

--------------
Can I safely exit this? Thanks!

Happy New Year everyone!!!
