I've removed 'allow-query' option from my named.conf. Will the effects take
place immediately? Can someone test it.

phoenix, you might already know this but if you use the GUI for dns
management, then the options you add in /etc/named.conf will be earsed
everytime you add/update dns info.

I think it is OK to leave allow recursion, so that only slected ip's are
allowed to do recursion. But certainly you have to allow public access to
the nameserver by removing the allow-query.
