visit a www.domain.tld/phpmyadmin on your cobalt
login with root and your password
then in a SQL textarea
GRANT ALL ON mytest.* TO tester@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'yourpass4tester'
And run it.
You might wanna check out the mysql manual

Subject: [cobalt-users] phpmyadmin
Hi,
I can`t find a good how to, so I hope somebody can help me here.
I run phpMyAdmin 2.5.3-rc2 on my RAQ 550 with mysql 4.0.16.
Now I can`t make a new user to a existing database.
I make a new database called: mytest
I make a new user called: tester
When I wish to add the user: tester to database mytest i get the follow:
The selected user can`t find into the privileges tabel
How can I add a new user into a new / existing database?
I try a lot of options, but I can`t do it.
(maybe there is an other good webbased solution?)
John
