[cobalt-users] RaQ4 How to port forward with the portfwd rpm

    For those that need to forward one port to another port to get around
blocked ports this is some nice stuff to use.

How to install...
rpm -ivh
ftp://www.zeffie.com/raq4/portfwd-0.22-1.Z1.Sun.Cobalt.Networks.Zeffie.com.raq4.i386.rpm

How to setup
pico /etc/portfwd.cfg
and add something like this or read the docs in /usr/doc/portfwd-0.22/ and
browse /etc/services
tcp {
        26 { => localhost:25 }
}
tcp {
        109 { => localhost:110 }
}

and start it
[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/portfwd start

[root /root]# ps -C portfwd
  PID TTY          TIME CMD
15801 ?        00:00:00 portfwd
15803 ?        00:00:00 portfwd
15804 ?        00:00:00 portfwd

and your all set and good to go... Enjoy
