Bruce... I have noticed that people often install software mentioned here on
the list and then sometimes forget all about it...  in this case they would
also be running an outdated portmap and most likely in an unsecured
manner...  This is really bad...  The portmap rpm is easy to build too...
perhaps you could build that too and comment on the importance of firewall
that controls access to it...
