I am with Dan on this. The folks like Mike, Gerald and Brian and some of
the others have done a good job of providing solutions beyond what
Sun/Cobalt has. Even the $$ items are well worth the money.

I agree with Dan and David. While I have worked directly only with
Michael Stauber and Jeff Lasman, I have emailed one or two others and
they know their stuff. We purchased SolarSpeed's Anti-virus and
Anti-Spam Suite and have been VERY pleased with the product and support.
I wish all of them good fortune in their endeavors to support the Cobalt
community.
An interesting side note is that at a regional technology conference
last month, I harassed the Sun reps about the cheesy way the company is
treating the Cobalt line. I don't know how high they were in the food
chain, but they insisted the line was not being discontinued. Either
Sun doesn't pass the information or they were good actors. I told them
they should recheck their sources. :-| And I let them know exactly how
I felt about my Qube and their policy and that a lot of other customers
were not too happy about it either. GRRR.
