The hard way would be to rebuild your RaQ with an OSRCD munged to create
a /tmp partition. No, I've never done that but I'd guess some people
on the list (Gerald comes to mind) could probably figure it out.
The easier but perhaps much more dangerous way would be to move /tmp
from /home (where it's symlinked to on the two RaQs I just checked it
on) to /var, which doesn't have quotas set up on it, but, which may or
may not have enough space on it. In my epxerience this is dangerous,
even after moving things off /var, and I wouldn't do it.
Looking at Linux in general, rather than RaQs in particular, this is one
reason why Maildir format for email boxes (as opposed to mbox, which
RaQs use) was invented; Maildir format does not require temporary mail
files during download.
