[cobalt-users] Spamassassin subject rewriting

May not be appropriate to this list, but I'm having no luck finding any
information on this.
We have spamassassin installed on our raq, and are generally pleased.
However, I don't understand the subject rewriting.
The main problem is that some of the mail is marked '{Spam?}' in the
subject line, when the message is clearly not so. For instance, a mail
that is in a white list might have a score of -100, but still be marked
'{Spam?}' in the subject line.
Doing some experiments, and looking into it more, I found that
- some mail is marked with '*****SPAM*****'
- some is marked with '{Spam?}'
- and some is marked with with both, like '*****SPAM***** {Spam?}'
It seems like the '*****SPAM*****' mark IS related to the score and the
spamassassin threshold.
I can't figure out at all what the '{Spam?}' mark relates to. Certain
senders are consistently marked this way, while others are not. I found
the rewriting setting in spamassassin, but this seems to relate only to
the '*****SPAM*****' mark. Is there something else that might be
rewriting the subject line?
Any suggestions on where to look, or references to helpful docs?
Thanks for any help.
