Chris,
Yeap on 2 of my workstations, I get a kernal panic when booting from the CD
and my laptop gives me the error stating I don't have one of the required
NIC cards. :-( Damn limiting...is there anything else I can do?
Thanks,
SW

FWIW, I use a Dell Optiplex GX260 with 512 MB RAM to do all of my OS
Restores on my Cobalts and I've never had any problems. I should mention
that I have only done OSR's with the Qube3 and Raq550 CDs so I can't verifiy
if the memory issue is or is not a problem with other cobalt ORSCDs.
On another note, I've attempted OSR's with a Dimension 4100 and Optiplex
GX110. Both of these models fail when booting the CD, giving a kernel panic
error.
Regards,
Chris
