I'm not 100% certain on this, but I think this has something to do with you
running 4 drives in the RAID level you chose. When I dropped my XTR back to
two drives  the image creation goes fine and the images are displayed ok.
When using 4 drives, I saw the same errors you are seeing. Maybe try taking
your XTR to a two drive system and see if that helps things.?
