Hello Everyone, I currently have a raq4 that is running Raq550 OS. I
have been updating it with no roblem for a while now but now it seems to
no want to put on a new kernel.
The package I'm trying to install is
RaQ550-All-Kernel-0.0.1-2.4.19C9_V-1.pkg
I tried a console install and got this in the log.
Installation of Cobalt-KernelC9-v1.0
--------------------------------------
Removing previous pkgsave kernel images
Backing up current kernel to /boot/vmlinux.pksave
Backing up current System.map to /boot/System.map.pksave
package kernel-2.4.19C9_V-1 is for a different architecture
ERROR: Problem installing RPM: kernel-2.4.19C9_V-1.i686.rpm. Aborting.
Cobalt-KernelC9-v1.0: Error installing RPM:
kernel-2.4.19C9_V-1.i686.rpm.
Is this because it's really a raq4? Has anyone else ran into this
problem? It's been a Raq550 for a good 6 months now and has a number of
pkgs installed on it before without any problems..
