I'm using the MailScanner package from nuonce.net. It works well but
it seems to be delaying the sending of mail. I believe it is caused by
the mailscanner processing but I cant be sure. I manually sent an
email message by telnetting to localhost on port 25, and various steps
seemed slower than they would have on a system without suche
software. I can't quite figure out what would cause this, and would
like to bypass the MailScanner for messages I send out. Is there a way
to do this. Also, has anyone else come up against this. It doesn't
matter if there is a delay coming in, but going out happens when the
user is sitting there waiting.
