I don't belive it is what version of linux but what version of php..

cobalt's so I know I get the right package??

I just installed on a RH 7.1 box and had to install a php-mysql rpm
version which matched the version of php I was running. Could not get
interoperability between the two until I did.

Oh yeah before I forget, I have uncommented the extension=mysql.so in
the php.ini file and it still doesn't show that table in the phpinfo
page.
