I have customer who after deleted his users profiles can not get his
permissions
set again on his new user account to allow his scripts and stuff to run.
when he tries to remove them after playing with chmod via ftp, it gives him
permission
denied.
Any ideas on how to fix this ? he is quite annoyed over the whole thing.
here is his comments on his issue:
I still having problems with CGI-* directories, in that I can not run the
scripts within. I tried logging on as you did, with Localflavor but that
didn't work. I had to rename CGI-BIN and CGI-SCRIPT as CGI-*2 and then
recreate CGI-BIN and CGI-SCRIPT in order to get my forms to work.
When you do a "dirInfo" the new cgi-* both have "DFROST" in the listing
where as cgi-*2 directories have "454" (what ever that means). I was thing
that could be changed via telnet, but my notes do not indicate any thing
alone those lines.
Again any ideas to tell him ?
