Thanks, I've done this before but this time I couldn't find the module required.
The only modules named "LWP::UserAgent" were dated 1998 or earlier. I've now
cancelled the Perl update, located Bundle::LWP for install, made a cup of coffee
and berated myself for general idiocy. Thanks for the help and fingers crossed
I'll get LWP working without screwing up anything I actually really, desperately
need :-)
