First: RaQ4 isn't mips based, so if you use one, you're not affected
It's his decision - he even doesn't have to justify his actions. It's a
pity - it might disappoint people but as far as I know nobody paid him to do
this. He decided that someone imposed on his kindness and that's reason
enough for him to quit - arguable but as well understandable.
Instead of asking him why he punishes people and suggesting he has the
obligation to provide his money and time to make others happy you might want
to revise your approach method.
