Nothing about the Qube is server rated. The memory is simple non ecc
desktop memory, from the corner of the street. The standard 5400 rpm
seagate harddrives are specific models meaned for the consumer and price
sensitive pc desktop ranges (as the ibm drives you mentioned). The
mainboard is simple design, with one of the cheapest amd processors
money can buy, The older RAQ models are possibly even worse with low end
power supply's that fluctuate with 7200 rpm drives.
Dont get me wrong, i like the Qube's and the RAQ's as much as the next
man, but let's not mistake them for powerfull server hardware. It is the
software on them that make em usefull.
