I do not have an XTR but the archives might have more information
because this has been asked several times before. If I remember
correctly, it is similar to 550's and not the cobalt_upgrade like older
cobalts... I have used the following on a RaQ550:
/usr/sausalito/sbin/pkg_prepare.pl -i -f /path/to/pkgs
/usr/sausalito/sbin/pkg_prepare.pl -i -u url.to.pkgs
the -i installs the pkg, you can also -R to not auto-reboot once
installed
