Re: [cobalt-users] General Cobalt Management 550 and Raq2

Typically the site admin should beable to write to their own
directory. You do not want world writable, just because you
may have some bad customers do stupid things. Generally if
you chmod +r <filename>, then you can write to it.

> 2) enable AWStats -- CGI Wrap Error issue

If you downloaded that from my site (www.nuonce.net), you just need to
wait for 24hrs, or you can run the "zz_awstats.pl" or "awstats.pl",
depending what version you are running. If you are trying to install
yourself, I offer a free package for Awstats. It is up to v5.9 on my
site.

> 3) enable WebMail

Here you have two options. The first option is from pkgmaster.com,
which is running v1.81 of Openwebmail. You can also get v2.1 of
Openwebmail from my site as well. That is also free.

You can get a free script from:
http://www.neuhaus-internet.de/cobalt/raqbackup/

It won't email you, but you can configure to upload to a FTP server.

That you would need a consultant for, or just read the manual, it has all
of that in the manual!

> 6) seeking to have a Mail Scanner / AV solution for the machine

Well, NuOnce (me) (www.nuonce.net) and Solarspeeds (www.solarspeed.net)
both have Commerical Packages for sale. No free ones, but there are alot
of hows to ... here is one:

On package for that, but it should be easy enough for a RaQ2 ... as long
as it has Perl, which I believe it does ... never really did much on it.

If you read the manual from above, you should have a good understanding.
If you would like to have some assistance, there are multiple consultants on
this board, which I am sure will reply too ... I am always available for
assistance as well. Plus, if you access my site, you will see all FREE as
well as non-free stuff. Not a lot, but my site is a good resource!
