That will only leave a copy of incoming mail on the server. It will not
leave outgoing mail in your users inbox.
If you want to 'link' webmail to a local mail client you will need to use
IMAP instead of POP.
IMAP stores all mail on the server and thus allows you to access it with a
variety of clients.
