RE: [cobalt-users] Linking webmail and pop account?

Sorry everyone, I have found it - in outlook express I have not selected "leave a copy on the server". Sometimes you oversee the obvious problems. Have a nice weekend.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Linking webmail and pop account?

Morning all,

I have recently installed open webmail on RAQ550 and is working fine. Users are able to send and receive mails using webmail associated with their virtual server. My question is:

is there a way to link pop, smtp and webmail together? I would like to link them whereas the mails sent and received using smtp and pop e.g. by outlook express will be viewable on webmail (similar to OWA with exchange)

Webmail is installed as default e.g. www.domain.com/webmail. On the cobalt virtual site has been configured as www.domain.com with individual users.

In the server management SMTP and POP are enabled with POP authenticated relay, on the virtual server email settings are : APOP is disabled and Mail server alias is domain.com.

Both are working fine independently - webmail is sending and receiving messages as user@xxxxxxxxxx whereas Outlook express does the same - using user@xxxxxxxxxxx

SMTP and POP have been configured on the DNS for the domain pointing to the virtual server IP.

Can someone help me what have I missed?

Thank you

Laszlo
