I'm planning on decommissioning a RAQ and rebuilting it's OS, as we've been having speed issues with the ASP problem I posted before (no-one seemed able to help, so I'm simply rebuilding the machine now)...
anyway, some of the sites have MySQL/PHP databases - what methods would anyone recommend for moving said databases from one machine to another?
I have phpmyadmin installed, and I was thinking of simply dumping the database - ftp the file across to the destination box and creating a blank database of the same name, then running the dumped output of phpmyadmin backup - does anyone have any other/better solutions?
As a side note - moving the site using cmuexport/import won't create any problems with SSL certs will it?
