I just recently revamped a Raq 3i with 2x 120GB drives and 550 software.
Install went off without a hitch, and I used rom version 2.9.34.
I think what Brian was referring to is that reportedly newer kernels break
when you have drives over 70GB in size, and no one has yet to figure out
why.
I personally have not tested that. My kernel is still stock. I'd love to
update if it does break things.
