I was so curious I threw the RAQ550 on the network and brought it back to
life.
Having looked at the paths for the 550 they do seem to be the same as the
RAQ4 for /etc/mail/virtusertable so my last post should work on the 550.

PS don't forget to backup your files before messing about with them, just in
case.
