I did mine in DNS settings and put the in a lines like this


 (left blank on purpose)                                            A
10.0.0.01
www                                                                       A
10.0.0.1
mail
A     10.0.0.1

This from what I understand is that requests can simply go to
username@xxxxxxxxxx

This bind 8/9 standard config stuff.
