Arkeia Light is free and backs up one local Linux box and 2 remote Linux

box to run the Arkeia server. I did not need to do any modification on the
RaQ 550 for the client to work.

I used the Arkeia Lite solution until tapes could no longer handle the volume in an expedient manner. I dedicated a PII-300MHz linux machine with removable hard drive to that task. It utilizes SSH over rsync for a secure backup solution. The SSH over rsync solution has been discussed multitudes of time in the archives %^).

Cheers!
