[cobalt-users] cube 3 hard disk replacement

Hi

I received a message from the cube that the primary hard disk had
failed. So I follwed the instructions and replaced the primary disk with
a matrox 20g disk and hey presto all was fine. However the cube now
informs me that the secondary drive has failed. I have tried to replace
with a 20gb Seagate disk (in fact I have tried 3 to date)and in each
case the cube keeps going round it's boot cycle saying "loading Kernel"
in the LCD display, then the Cobalt icon and "loading kernel" again. I
am at a loss to understand why these disks will not work, when in fact I
had the latest one tested and it is fine........all and any thoughts
greatly appreciated
