Yes, I installed the new patches that were available. I manually deleted the q
directories and restarted Mailscanner using
/etc/rc.d/init.d/MailScanner restart
which in my case is the same as
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart
because I renamed the original sendmail file and copied the mailscanner file to
sendmail. The sendmail file was not changed in the update. MailScanner appears
to be running fine now that I deleted the q directories and restarted.
