Hi,

If you are just looking for bandwith monitoring, the standard mrtg runs
"out of the box" on the 550 without the need for compiling additional
libaries. The installation instruction included works out fine.

"the commercial package" adds monitoring of cpu temp, swap space etc
etc, which you would have to fumble out of your cobalt with blue magic
and configure into mrtg yourself.
