Hi,
I still have a major problem with my Raq3 not receiving emails via smtp from
outside
our host network (Nildram). If I telnet to port 25 from another Nildram
account we get
a response, but if we do the same thing from outside Nildram (eg using
another ISP) the Raq3
doesn't respond at all. To double check this, we downed the Raq3 and
replaced it with a
standard PC running Zone Alarm using all the same IP addresses as the Raq3
did.
When we sent an email to a domain that was hosted on the Raq - sure enough
Zone Alarm
reported an attempt to access the machine on port 25.
Therefore, I reckon our DNS server and Router are configured correctly and
that it is
the Raq3 that is rejecting the connections.
I really am stuck here, and would really appreciate anyone's help.
Regards
