hmmm,

i'm getting these errors in my logs since install:

Sep 17 18:17:05 ns authenticate: PAM unable to
dlopen(/lib/security/pam_deny.so)
Sep 17 18:17:05 ns authenticate: PAM [dlerror: /lib/security/pam_deny.so:
cannot open shared object file: Too many open files in system]
Sep 17 18:17:05 ns authenticate: PAM adding faulty module:
/lib/security/pam_deny.so
Sep 17 18:20:42 ns pidof[11453]: can't get program name from
/proc/11671/stat

the server did go down last night at 7pm (only responding to ping nothing
else). a reboot fixed this but i'm wondering if these messages have anything
to do with it, and/or if it will happen again.
