I meant to mention that since Qube2 Restore CD boots ans installs on my
qube 1 fine, I do no believe it is my ethernet card.

In case this help here is some more lines from the screen:

... this is where it sits ...

I hope that more info may tell someone knowledgable what my poroblem
is. 
Also, maybe there parameteres for  boot: I can use to help resolve
this.
