RE: [cobalt-users] Using RAQ550 to front an Exchange Server

It will work.

We do the opposite and have w2k in front of raq's for spam and virus
filtering.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Using RAQ550 to front an Exchange Server

I would like to use our RAQ550 to be the outside e-mail presence and then
forward all e-mail to our Exchange server. (I shutter to think of having an
Exchange server directly connected to the Internet.) The RAQ550 is already
being used as the enterprise web server. The only way I can see to achieve
this forwarding is to add a E-Mail Server Alias and a Catch-All address that
points to the Exchange server. Will this work? Is there a better way of
achieving this goal?

Thanks for your help.

Al Cooper
