Re: [cobalt-users] relaying denied, single domain on server

At 10:20 AM 9/13/2003, you wrote:
Hello,

I'm getting this error:

Relaying denied. IP name lookup failed

when I send from my network.

and this erro when I send from outside my network:

Relaying denied.
Please check your mail first or restart your mail session.

This is only on one domain on my raq4r. I'm tailing the mail log, and sending emails to many domains on the server, and this is the only one that gives me this error.

I looked through the archives and based on what I saw there tried:

Deleting and re-adding the domain
Running Meta-verify

I'm sending these emails through another SMTP server (not the machine hosting the domain). There are reverse entries for all domains involved, verified through dig and nslookup.

Any ideas?

make sure you have they primary and secondary dns for your machine set up under network settings
