Thanks, but I've already been down that road. The problem is with the
database itself, not the tables or the data. I can't give the Postgresql any
commands at all - it just gives the error message: 'backend closed the
channel unexpectedly'. It looks like my only option is to re-install
Postgresql itself - that's what I need help to do.
