[cobalt-users] How to reduce CPU load for cron.daily tasks

I've got a Raq4 that is lightly loaded in terms of traffic, disk, etc. but
when the cron.daily runs at ~4a its CPU load is normally in excess of 140,
while another Raq4 with 4x the sites and traffic is only hitting ~65. There
is one long-time site on the high utilization box, and I'm guessing that the
'history' may be an issue. Both machines are similarly configured in terms
of memory and services. Both are using webalizer for stats (the Cobalt
stuff is still running, but NOT the access by domains reports).

What can be done to reduce the load? Are there logfiles that can be
trimmed? What are web.stats, web.cache and web.cache.new used for? Adding
all items in the /home/sites/sitex/logs directory there's less than 10mb on
the 'old' site.

TIA
