After you reformat the disk you must remove the partition. Put a drive
in with NO INFO and NO PARTITION. Give that a try.
Also, the drive must be at least the size of the one you are replacing.
In other words, you cannot replace an 80 GB with a 40 GB. The Raq550
resets its own partiton according to the setup.
