[Yes, the spaces are there, at least in the Cobalt GUI.]
I have just fixed the problem by dint of pounding my head against a wall. I
finally looked at the GUI tab for E-mail servers, Advanced, and put in both
mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com for "Receive Email Address To
Hosts/Domains (optional)."
While this may seem obvious to some, it sure wasn't to me. Because the error
message seemed to say that the MX record was wrong, I kept trying to amend
the MX record, which was just spinning wheels.
What was really happening was that the E-mail server had not been informed
that it needed to capture the mail for mydomain.com.
I blame the f------ GUI and documentation. In the book, in this spot it
says, "Email addressed to the <hostname.domainname> of the Qube 3 is
automatically accepted."
