I have done this several times as well, and in MOST cases it has worked for
me.
On 2 sites though, upon re-naming the site, ALL content was mysteriously
GONE. That happened on a RAQ4, and the times I have done this on 550's it
has never happened.
Just FYI, make 100% sure that the user has the content backed up, and all of
the permissions documented, the last part is the one that most people
forget!!
