I assume this is on a RaQ 550? I am not 100% sure what is going on, I tested
it on another box, and it works just fine.

Only to access it, is it needed!

It should be in /home/phpMyAdmin-2.5.5
Make sure everything any old versions are uninstalled. Try again.
