Then post the solution to this poor guys problem. His method *WILL* result in downtime.
I'm REALLY interested in how you persuade all the larger ISPs around the world who cache your DNS records to release them... *REALLY* interested.

I've never had to do it - like I said, I'd REALLY like to know how it's done without affecting site visibility, and by the sounds of it, the OP only has ONE box... the options are getting slimmer... if both sets of IPs can be run concurrently on two separate boxes, it's a piece of cake.
