RE: [cobalt-users] RE: SSL on main site

-----Original Message-----
The SSL certificate which is used on the main site only seems to be working
on the admin port (81). Is there any way to have it also enable port 443
and use the same SSL certificate for the main site?

The SSL cert on the admin is a pretend one, one that can be used if you
want a secure connection. It is NOT signed by a valid CA.

If you want to enable port '443' on your main site, just click on enable
SSL for that site, and you can generate your own cert for that site. It
is doing the same thing. You will still get an error message, but the
connection is secure.

If you ever decide to purchase an SSL cert, you can then just import your
new one in it's place.
