C'mon. You're not going to try to say that a sig, in reply to a
non-advertising message, is advertising? I thought you've been around
long enough to know what a sig is and the rules and netiquette
surrounding their use. I think it's even covered in the META FAQ
(fingers want to type RAQ).

Even though it's probably sort of on topic, if you look over your
previous posts they do come off as an ad. If every Cobalt related
product or software came onto the list with an offer of a contest of
"first one to guess X gets it free, everyone else can visit
www.example.tld to buy it" the group would be flooded with posts like
that.
