Any other difficulties ? Do you have chkrootkit running ? Any clues from
there ?
Spikes in datatraffic ?
Do you have a access to a working box ??
If so scp all the needed files to the non working box. See if that makes a
difference. First of all make a backup of your server right away, only a SSH
shell is needed. (Dont make use of the standard cobalt back up as that is not
going to work when doing a restore. )
