I created a bunch of rpm files, and a howto. I did not go as far as to roll
it up into a package, for two reaseons; first: i have never done it :), but
mostly second: there is little to learn from installing pkg files, where a
howto always leaves you with a bit more knowledge then you had. The
procedure and howtoo are freely avaiable here for the Qube3:

a second howto and bunch of rpm's for the 550 is almost complete. I learned
today that (the excelent) nuonce.net has a complete pkg file for the R3/4
and the 550 too ($25).
In principle, i think you could eaily create an XTR version by following the
550 howto, and end up with a perfect working system.
GUI integration is not avaiable, like the standard MYSQL, management must be
done with either the command line (yuck) or a great tool like phpMyAdmin
(install outlined in the url spammed above)
