[cobalt-users] MySQL 4. Nuonce pkg Problems

Hello
I grabbed the Nuonce Mysql 4 pkg and followed Brian's instructions on
backing up DB's and then stopping mysql, uninstall the pkgmaster version and
delete the /home/mysql and the /var/lib/mysql files.

I then did the gui install of the new mysql pkg and now I can't get it to
start, it can't find the mysql.sock, I looked in all the places mentioned in
the archives, which makes sense since I can't get it to start.

Raq4 with NuOnce Mysql 4 pkg.

Any help would be great. This is a production box, fortunately it's lightly
used.

I have an email off to Brian, but may be to late for him being it is a
Friday night :(
