Hi Vidar!
Your error log indicates that apache is expecting a certificate, but
you say you have none installed. If you did not use a certificate in
the past, I would highly recommend installing one. Without it, you
are sending all your commands including your root password openly
across the net.
I know, I know... :)
root has a different pswd then admin gui - I changed it for security reasons.
I would install a certificate and drop it in the
home/sites/home/cert folder. You do not have to purchase a
certificate for this, simply create your own, self-signed
certificate will be fine. Then try restarting the service.
I generated cert's on another cobalt machine via the gui, was very
simple. But not I can't... because the gui doesn't work anymore...
I guess I got to find another posibility to generate one.
And still the question, why the heck the server is making such
problems from one second to another without doing anything?!
Greetings, Frank
