Hi
I am hoping someone can help, I have created a .htaccess file - SSH the file
to the folder on the server that needs protection. I then SSH into the
server, go to the folder and type the following:-->
htpasswd -m -c .htpasswd username
I get the following message:-->
bash: htpasswd: command not found
This is what the .htaccess file has in it:-->
AuthPAM_Enabled off
AuthUserFile /home/sites/siteX/folder/.htpasswd
AuthName "My Directory"
AuthType Basic
Oder allow,deny
Allow from all
<Limit GET POST>
require valid-user
</Limit>
I have search the past posts, tried all their solutions yet I still get that
error.
any assistance would be appreciated
kind regards
Michelle
